Thomas Clutts, born on March 16,
1847, was a doctor in Virginia and Elizabeth, born November 21, 1851,
traveled with him as a nurse. He also worked as a coal miner. They married
in 1869. Elizabeth Francis Gee, daughter of Micajah (or McKagen) Gee
and Martha Shelton, died August 15, 1912 at Flat Lick, Kentucky and Thomas
died in November, 1917.
Elizabeth Francis Clutts was born on August
10, 1889 and died on November 26, 1972. Stanley Clarence Cole was born on
July 5, 1885 and died on May 12, 1964. They married on May 7, 1910.
Most of her family came from Harlan and Hazard, Kentucky. She is buried in
Proctor, Kentucky.

worked as coal miner and married Lillie, born April, 1873, in 1892. Their
children include Edward, born March, 1893; Laura, born October, 1895; and
Ethel, born April, 1898.

George Arthur Clutss, born June 15, 1875,
married November 5, 1900 to Annie F Johnstone, worked as a coal miner, and
died March 24, 1946.
James Matthew Clutts, born July 12, 1877,
married December 24, 1897 to Drusilla L Johnstone, worked as a coal miner,
and died January 5, 1905. Drucie was born June, 1878. Their children
include Howard.
Charles Clutts, born April 11, 1879,
worked as a coal miner, and died April 15, 1921.
B Frank Clutts, born January 25,
1881, married Carrie Burton, worked as a coal miner, and died January,
1943.
Gertrude Clutts, born August 27, 1883
and died 1949.
Bell Clutts, born January 6,
1886.
Martha Clutts, born April 4, 1887.
Thomas Clutts, born June 2, 1893,
married Elizabeth Lewis on December 23, 1913 at her parents', J B and
Margaret Lewis, home in Flat Lick, Kentucky. Thomas died in August,
1946 and Elizabeth died on April 7, 1923. Their children include
Melvin, Clifford, Margaret, and Freeda. After Elizabeth's death Thomas
married Cordie. Thomas Clutts children include James Joseph and
Carl. Cordie passed away in 1974. Melvin passed away January
2, 1998 and the others are all still living.
