Benjamin Haggard married Polly Nokes July 21, 1785 in Stanford,
Kentucky.
Edmund Haggard was born in 1725 and died in 1800. He was
the son of the first Haggard to come to America and was born about 1725.
He married Hannah Rice. Hannah's father' s name was William.
Edmund moved to Kentucky, a few miles south of Boonsborough. After
he married, he moved to Tazewell County, North Carolina, then moved to
Kentucky, settling in Garrard County. He served in three campaigns of the
Revolutionary War.
