"Emma Ware McKee
and her husband, Marion, set up housekeeping in the home of Marion and his
mother on the old McKee farm. Opal was born there in 1903. Then they moved
to J D Comptons's place on Rock Lick Creek where Beatrice was born in
1905. Later Marion built a house on Oak Hill Ridge between the Oak Hill
school and thier childhood homes. Hobart was born there in 1907; Ina and
Ila, in 1912. Marion sold that place and rented a home from Jerd Spears on
Cedar Knob where they lived awhile. Their next home was between Oak Hill
and Valley Oak, at the Arioch Gentian place, where Virgil Denton was born
in 1916. From there they moved to Grandpa Ware's farm when he moved to
Science Hill, staying untill Grandpa sold the place to Joe Taylor. Then
they moved to the J D Compton farm four miles west of Somerset where Opal
and Beatrice married. The rest of the family moved to Hyatts Fork near
Pulaski, just a skip and a jump from Dudley Ware's original Kentucky home.
In 1923 they moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, until Marion and Emma's deaths in
the 1960's"
