Arlis Ray Patterson
was born April 28, 1915 at Humphry Walltown, Casey County Kentucky. He was
delivered by midwife, Artaprisilla Elliott, wife of Silas and mother of
Mattie (birth certificate #17294). He died on June 30, 1991 of a heart
attack. He rests at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mount Healthy. He
married Christine Roberta Gaines on October 23, 1935 at Walltown.

Gaines was born on July 31,
1918 in Walltown, Casey County Kentucky (birth certificate #36244). She is
living in Mt Orab, continuing in her tradition of being my biggest fan.
They were married on October 23, 1935. Her advice, "When you are
young, make every day a pleasant memory." In the early years after
Ray Patterson's death, she dreamt of him nightly. She was struck
that all of those dreams were of their earlier years together and of him
as a young man.
William Henry
Patterson was born on September
8, 1869 and died on May 23, 1954. His first marriage was to Savanah Brown
(1866) on December 18, 1889. His second marriage was to Mattie Florence
Elliott Braswell on January 13, 1911 at Humphry, Kentucky.
William Henry Patterson was buried in Salyers Cemetary, next to Savannah
Brown.
Mattie Florence
was born November 7, 1881 and died on October 16, 1957. Her first marriage
was to Thomas Braswell (1864). Her second marraige was to William
Henry Patterson.
Stanley Patterson
was born June 6, 1906 and died on June 22, 1996.
Cecil Patterson
was born August 22, 1913 and died on February 4, 1997.
