James Patterson was born about 1765 in Ireland.

Jonathan Patterson, born on February 25, 1790 in the Carolinas and died November 4, 1874 in Spencer County Kentucky, married Mary 'Polly' Littlejohn, born May 4, 1795 in Kentucky or South Carolina and died July 10, 1878, on September 24, 1813 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.  They were buried in King's Church Cemetery in Mt. Washington, Kentucky.  An alternative date of birth for Mary is April 5, 1795.  Jonathan was a Pulaski County, Kentucky Bondsman. Mary Littlejohn is the daughter of Charles Littlejohn and Polly Littlejohn.

Greenberry Patterson, born November 27, 1816 and died November 25, 1911, married Permelia Perkins, born July 16, 1822 in Casey County, Kentucky and died July 11, 1891, on January 31, 1839 in Casey County, Kentucky.

Christopher C Patterson, born February 27, 1845, died August 16, 1925 in Casey County, Kentucky, married Mary A. Reynolds.  Christopher and Mary are buried at Nickols-Patterson Cemetery in Casey County, Kentucky.  Their children according to the the 1880 census include William H, Cyrus, Nancy J., and George M. Cyrus was born in September, 1872.  Christopher Patterson was born in 1847.  Christopher was a private in Company A of the First Kentucky State Calvary, Union Army.   He enrolled on February 2, 1865 and was mustered on April 23, 1865 in Lebanon, Kentucky.  He was mustered out again on October 17, 1866 in Lebanon, Kentucky.        
The reference for Christopher's death is the Vital Stats Index, January 1921-December 1926. 

The 1880 Casey County census lists Christopher's wife as Mary A.
The listing of the Nickols-Patterson Cemetery in the book for Casey County 1806-1977 has the following information:  Chris  1845-1925 Mary (W. of C) 1845-1906.
William Henry Patterson was born in 1800 and died in 1889. He was buried in Patterson Cemetery in Old Contown in Casey County, Kentucky. He was one of the first settlers of Casey County, Kentucky. He worked as a gunsmith. He died in 1889 and was buried in Patterson Cemetery.
