William Snodgrass died between May and July of 1830.  He had a large, prosperous farm on the middle fork of the Holston River in Washington County, Virginia.  Regretfully, he owned a slave boy named Campbell with two more "negroes" indentured to him.  He married Sarah (unknown maden name).

Francis K Snodgrass married Jane S Galliher on September 5, 1844.  She was the daughter of John Galliher of Washington County, Virginia who died in 1866.  He worked as a school teacher.  On March 5, 1849, he sold his third of the farm he and his brothers inherited from their father, William, and in September, 1849,  bought a 71 acre farm in Washington County, Virginia.  He sold that farm in December of 1853.

America Snodgrass (or Americus Snodgrass) married Speed Cole and lived in Lee County, Kentucky.  For a time, they apparently both lived in Owsley County, Kentucky  where they met.
