Notice
This site is a
collection of reports from cousins far and near. However, proof and
sources have not been required for posting. Although many
genealogists consider this reckless, I consider it a very successful way

corrections). It also provides leads for new discoveries and direction in

FYI
Although there are
about 500 web pages within
An American Family at this time, some of them are the equivalent of more than 30 type-written pages, each. An American Family consists of approxiamately 9 megabytes of text and another 60 megabytes of photography. The best way to determine the scope of this project is to translate those figures into something in which we are familiar. Nine megabytes holds approxiamately 4,500 type-written pages. That beats Shakespeare!
